This famous train station was built for the Orient Express, which ran from Paris to Istanbul. Completed in 1890, its architecture incorporates several features of typical Istanbul architecture, including Byzantine alternating bricks, a Seljuk monumental recessed portal, and Muslim horseshoe arches around the windows. It's definitely worth a stroll, and a stop for coffee at the station's cafe.
