This Istanbul mosque was originally the Church of Theotokos Kyriotissa (her Ladyship Mary, Mother of God), built and rebuilt several times between the 6th and 12th centuries by the Byzantines. It was converted to a mosque after the conquest of Constantinople. It gets its name from the Kalenderhane Dervishes, who used it as their headquarters after the conversion. You can access it if the caretaker is there, or at least look in the windows and take photos (as these were taken).
