Connecting with Moms in Izmir

I am planning to move to Izmir soon with my newborn baby and was hoping to find a group for expat moms in the area. Does anyone have information on that?

Also: this is a random addendum, but if anyone could tell me what the public smoking situation is in Izmir I would be overjoyed. I know that in some areas it is technically "yasak," but people still do it anyway. Is this the case with Izmir? I'm excited about the move but concerned for my little lady's developing lungs.

Input on either of these queries would be tremendously helpful. Thanks :)

The times I have been to restaurants, cafes, and bars in Izmir, the smoking rules were strictly enforced. I never saw anyone smoking inside, only outside at the sidewalk tables or if they had an open area outside.
