Mencjusz 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2018 Hey all! I'm searching for academic jobs in the major international relations/political science/conflict studies etc. I have noticed that academic jobs of Turkish universities are rarely advertised at the international academic job websites e.g. higheredjobs. Thus, I would be more than grateful for any information about open positions or, if you know, any other websites with such offers. Thank you very much! IbrahimAbi 606 Report post Posted April 19, 2018 Your field sounds quite dangerous to be teaching in Turkey right now. Have you been following the news?

Mencjusz 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2018 I know what is happening in Turkey; however, I have working experience in Iraq with NGO, so believe I would be able to manage potentially politically unstable environment and take care of myself. World is full of crisis, but this should not stop from looking for possibilities and opportunities.
IbrahimAbi 606 Report post Posted April 20, 2018 I think it was Idi Amin who said that he had no problem with freedom of speech but there could be a problem with freedom after speech
angelaturkey 65 Report post Posted April 20, 2018 You did not reply to me ... are you Turkish or not? If not, you will have to get both a Residency Permit and a work permit to stay in Turkey and to work in Turkey. A total waste of time for you to look at buying property just now. x Angela in Side x Quote
Mencjusz 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2018 Im not looking for property to buy, so, indeed, it would be waste of time. I'm looking for job opportunities for now.
