Sooo, I filled my RP application online before my 90/180 days were full. BUT I didn't print it out in same day, because I thought I only need it for my Randevu appoitment..So now I have overstayed and there is no point to go to that appointment (which is next week) because I have overstayed they wouldn't accept it and would send me away. Somebody told me I should go and take a trip to Rhodes for one day, that they will make me sign some paper that i understand i have overstayed and when I'm back I could apply my RP again. But I'm so nervous that if I go to Rhodes can they not let me come back to Turkey anymore or give me a ban or something? Any advices what should I do? Same happened to anybody else? Thank you.

.... And people who told me to go to Rhodes for one day is working with Residence Permits and he said I need to let him know when I'm going to Rohodes so he will make a call and explain my situation and it will be ok at the passport control and I just need to sign the paper and maybe pay something. But I'm just still so nervous about this, I'm so afraid I'll get a ban anyway. Should I trust it will be just ok? Help me please, I need some opinions and advise.

Why would they do that? Your application is still in the system. You have applied.

Yes that's true. You can go to Rhodes and come back, and sign a paper on which you state that you will go to the Directorate General of Migration Management and apply for a residence permit, I believe within ten days. But I think that is unnecessary. Just go to your appointment. If they ask for your application, tell them that you don't have it. You still have an appointment.

You shouldn't talk to other people about this when you can call the DGMM and ask them. Just call 157 and ask them what you should do, and let them tell you.

That is the first thing you should do. Just call 157 and select the option for English. An immigration specialist will help you over the phone.

When you learn what you should do, would you please come back and let us know what they told you?

Okay. Thank you so much for your advice. This man said it will be a problem because in the application "Date of application"  is 4th October because that's the day when I print it out, and my days to stay in Turkey did fill up i September already.. So he said it's counting from that day when I have print it out so I have overstayed now, even I did fill the application online when I still had days to stay. So confusing...

But I will call there asap and ask what they think. And yes of course I'll write here what is happening.

I just tried and I could print the application again now again if I want to.. So probably I can just say I lost the one I print out first and that's why I print it out again and the date is 4th October.. But just to be sure I'll call to that number and ask what they say I should do.

Who is "this man?" Is he an immigration specialist who works for the Directorate General of Migration Management?
