FenerEniste 168
Hi, No affiliation...but I started going on this site and checking out the properties they have. Nice stuff (I'm a villa kinda guy) in Bodrum, Kusadasi etc. Prices are in UK £...but easy enough to use a currency converter for USD/Euro/Lira etc. https://www.propertyturkey.com/real_estate/turkey If anyone has any others that they would like to add/share, please do. At some point I'd like to purchase the perennial "Turkish Summer home"...so the more choices the better! Yasmin & Suse, Ken Grubb and Wardy 2

FenerEniste 168
Gotta dream BIG! I'm sure at some point I'll hang it all up (aka retire) & want to live on the coast...haha. Ken Grubb and Yasmin & Suse
Ken Grubb 1,421
I'm considering moving to Bodrum myself.
IbrahimAbi 643
I don't think you will like Bodrum after Izmir and Antalya Ken Grubb
FenerEniste 168
Kusadasi would be my first choice based on proximity to Izmir. Marmaris/Bodrum/Fetihye...and then Antalya Ken Grubb
Daniel Stein 52
In a way Kuşadası is a nice little town, but for me, too much concrete, traffic and tourists in the summer. Maybe a summer place on the outskirts would be okay though. What about some of the beach towns along that peninsula just south of Izmir, or around Çeşme? FenerEniste 168
Cesme...its the same. Izmir would be Teos, Seferhisar etc. I like the idea of Kusadasi being a tourist haven... I'm ok with that Grew up in Jamaica & Miami respectively...tourists & the tourist life doesn't phase me. Ken Grubb
Wardy 0
There is another solid website called sahibinden.com. Seems like the turkish version of ebay.
FenerEniste 168
There is another solid website called sahibinden.com. Seems like the turkish version of ebay. Yes, SB has been around for quite sometime. Good stuff on there.
IbrahimAbi 643
The prices on SB are guide prices, no-one expects to receive what they are asking. Do not consider anything unseen.
FiYi 0
Hello Ibrahim Abi, Are you Turkish or a foreigner? I really like the idea of exploring around Isparta- I have always been amazed at the lakes near there when I have flown over. do you know of he lakes I am referring to? How is it living there? Are you living there with a Turkish wife and / or family? I would like to find a nice traditional small boutique-type hotel, in a rural, natural, setting, and stay and visit the surrounding area for a few days. Any ideas?
