The best thing to do is take the ring, the receipt and the certificate to the police in Marmaris.

If your friends paid by credit card maybe they can make a claim against the credit card company.

They can also write the the Chamber of Trade in Marmaris. If they want to report it to the Turkish police I understand they have to do it in person.

I'm pleased to hear that you are doing OK and that Hubby is working. Driving on the other side of the road is a challenge, especially with as much traffic as there is in the UK.
