As some of you may remember me....

I am recently divorced from my Turk husband and although I have Turkish nationality I have not been able to get work here and will have to return to the UK to work. My problem is that I have 2 very lovely dogs (German Shepherd Mix whos 6 and a year old Heinz variety of who knows what, both rescues) that I do not want to leave behind but I cannot take them as there is no where for them to stay (London) and god only knows how much it will cost to get them there! I want to find someone that can stay in my home and look after them RENT FREE, I will provide dog food etc., but they will need to be cared for 'properly' by English standards and walked and loved!!!! Maybe a tall order!!!!!! I am becoming rather desperate! If anyone out there knows anyone that would be suitable can you put us in touch with each other please. I guess putting a card up in Ibos bar would help...!!! Havent been able to socialise there as my finances are in a sorry state to say the least!!!

Thanks for reading and please share if you can.

CheersDebs

Hi Debs. very sorry to read your news. I don't know how much money you need to survive here but maybe you should pay a visit to Ibos and have a chat with him as he may know someone who could offer you a job or even may be able to.offer you one himself. It's worth a try as he knows a lot of people and would help you if you explain your situation..

How long are you thinking of going back to the UK for as people would need to that. Also are you living on a site and how much would the aidat be?

Hi Abi, my house is not on a site and is a 3 bed detached with surround garden so no fees to be paid to anyone (thankfully). I am close to the dort yol (Dalgic) so good for shops/bus garage etc., I don't really know how long I will have to stay in the UK as will depend on finding work and getting paid but I would think for most of the winter :-( !!!!! I will pay Ibo a visit as the more people that know about this I guess the better chance I have of finding something eh!!! Have thought about renting out rooms for the winter (and for sure next season) but again not sure how that will work and need long term committment to ensure I dont get left high and dry....my brain is going nuts at the moment trying to work out alternatives but my main concern is for the dogs....of course I would prefer to stay here and am trying to remain positive that something will come but had better make back up plans too. Thanks for your advice and fingers crossed!

I've talked to Mr sunny and he's looking but your lack of Turkish is a problem.

Hello, its me, I'm still here....!!!!! I am bumping this up again just in case someone somewhere is interested....

I wonder if I offer to rent out rooms to lodgers rather than the whole house if this would spark interest anywhere....still need to make money somehow or the canine's will have to become vegetarians very soon as looks like we'll all be eating the grass outside....!!! Thanks for reading and hope you are all well. Debs

There's a notice board at Ibo's, why don't you put the info on that? You never know, someone who can help might see it, especially if you put it on bright coloured paper.
