This was found at a bath just north of the Cleopatra gate, and is dated at around 230 AD. It served as the pedestal of a statue. It says: "This statue has been erected for double protection of imperial temple, with special responsibilities and authority for officials both in the province of Cilicia, which has been granted may special privileges including an independent provincial parliament and serving as head of the provinces of Issaura and Liconia. This statue was erected by the city of Tarsus, the greatest, most beautiful capital and city of Severus Alexander, Septimus Severus, Caracalla, and Hadrionus with best wishes for peace upon our devout and fortunate lord, Emperor Marcus Aurelius Severus Alexander."
