  1. This was formerly the Kalkan city hall, until Kalkan was merged into Kaş county. For normal city business, you need to go to the Kaş belediye (city hall). But here you can pay your water and real estate tax bills. You can also pay fees and taxes for your boat here. Open from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
  2. Inside the Yalihan Shopping Center. From Sehitler Caddesi (the main road which descends into Kalkan from the highway), look for the large Deniz Bank sign. If you need to get electricity connected to your home in Kalkan, this is where you need to go. You can pay your electric bills here, at the post office (PTT), or at any bank listed on your electricity bill. You can have your electric bill payed automatically from your bank account by taking one of your bills to your bank. Open from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Turkey's national customer service number for electrical problems and information is 186.   3. This is where you would get your telephone connected in Kalkan. The Türk Telekom office is in the Kalkan PTT (Post Office) building. The entrance is on the left side, Open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.     One of the larger grocery stores in Kalkan, and Turkey. Open from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM. The Migros customer service telephone number (free) is 444 1 044.

    Gourmet Pork, Kalkan

    Gourmet Pork is on the first floor of a building which is lower than the road it's on. So you may not first see the sign if cars are parked in front of it. Come and visit us or telephone. We will deliver. Products include Pork ribs Pork rump Pork joint Pork chops Pork fillet Pork sausage Fillets Smoked herring (Kipper) fillets Battered Haddock fillets Scampi Back Bacon Gammon steak Black pudding Prosciutto Cotto And more.
  6. Open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. One of the larger grocery supermarkets in Kalkan, and Turkey.
  7. Their motto is "Toptan Fiyatına, Perakende Satış," which means "Retail Sales at Wholesale Prices." BiM is a no-frills supermarket which displays products in the original boxes on shelves to cut expenses, and pass the savings on to the customer.
  8. The central post office of Kalkan. Here you can mail and receive letters and packages, pay utility bills, and exchange foreign currency. Operating Hours Winter: Open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Summer: Open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Closed on Sundays and Holidays.   19. The Kalkan bus station. From here you can arrange a bus trip to just about anywhere in Turkey. However, since it is a small station, you will probably need to catch a bus to a transportation hub such as Fethiye or Antalya for some destinations.   20. To live in Kaş or Kalkan, you will need to apply for a residence permit at the office of the Directorate General for Migration Management (DGMM), in Kaş.
