My wife and I have been indecisive about where to live in Turkey so we would like to get residence permits using a hotel address. Is there a possibility that the hotel would refuse to write a letter stating that we live there? Is there a minimum term we have to stay at the hotel? Can we use the hotel address to do other things like opening a bank account or getting a mobile phone contract? Regards.

I had a phone call last night from my friend Paul Cox in Margate, England. He wants to come to Side for 3 months over the winter ... all of December, January and February ... returning to the UK around 1st March. Our family is moving to Antalya in mid-January, and we are interested in living near the city centre. We need to identify short-term accommodation (i.e. - hotel, pension, furnished flat, etc...) while we sort longer term living arrangements and await the arrival of our household goods. Will of course also be needing to identify long term rental property. Any assistance, referrals or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Guys, I'm due to visit Istanbul at the beginning of November and trying to get an idea of places to stay now. My boyfriend's family live in Beylikduzu and he has offered for me to stay with him, however I think I would feel uncomfortable and a burden, as his mother barely knows hello in english and although I'm learning Turkish, I am very much a beginner. I have family in Levent and Nisantasi, and as it's my first trip to Istanbul, I would very much prefer that they are nearby. My boyfriend will then stay with me. Can anybody recommend a good place to stay that's possibly between thes

Please can anyone recommend a good central Bodrum hotel. I may start my September visit with 3 nights in Bodrum and then meet up with my sister and mosey on down to Datca to hook up with the rest of my family. I was amazed though at the B&B prices for fairly ordinary hotels -
