Our family is moving to Antalya in mid-January, and we are interested in living near the city centre. We need to identify short-term accommodation (i.e. - hotel, pension, furnished flat, etc...) while we sort longer term living arrangements and await the arrival of our household goods. Will of course also be needing to identify long term rental property. Any assistance, referrals or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi I am new to your forum, my husband and I are travelling for a few days from our apartment in Altinkum and we would love to spend two or three nights getting to know more about Ceseme. We are usually lucky and find a very cheap pension to met our needs but not knowing the area I was wondering is this possible in Ceseme or is the accommodation mainly beach front hotels, which may be a stretch too costly for us. If anyone could give us some advise on this we would be very grateful and who knows we might just end up at your pub quiz!!

Hi guys, Is it true that a foreigner, even with permanent residency, who has paid all the required contributions is still not entitled to a Turkish state pension?? Thanks

How is the pension system in Turkey? How many working days do you need before you can retire, and what is the awerage amount you get paid every month, and for how long? If you have a business in Turkey, then you are not able to work there, but can you still pay for your pension and healthcare like the Turks do?

If anyone is coming to Antalya and looking for very reasonably-priced accommodation then I would recommend staying at Mond Pansiyon. Right in the centre of Kaleici, the old city. There you can stroll around the huge area of the old quarter, walk down to the harbour and take a boat trip or just drink tea in one of the many tea-gardens there. Address: Paşacami Sokak No 25 - 40 Tel: 0242 247 12 12 Huseyin's mobile: 0534 743 96 95 My parents stayed there when they came to Antalya and really enjoyed staying there. The rooms are basic but clean, new bathrooms were installed throug
