Hello, I'd like to send some personal items (clothes and books) from Turkey to the UK. Can anyone recommend a good company? I've got one quote so far to send roughly 80kg/ 4 cubic metres for 2000 euros, by road. This seems to be overly priced. Am i right?
I'm trying to get certain Turkish foods to run a business here in the States. NJ is one state over and they make the products, but they are a pain to deal with and we'd have to deal with the FDA and it's not me who'd have to get the paperwork done; it's NJ and they are dragging their feet. I was wondering if anybody knew of a food distributer that ships to the US that has a good reputation and won't cost an arm and a leg.
Hello everyone, I am currently looking for companies, which deal with building/construction materials in Turkey. I am interested mainly in merchandisers, and not in producers. Any names/information you could come up with is useful. Size of the company does not really matter- from family companies to megamarkets. Thank you all in advance
I did a search for carpets and read a thread about buying carpets, but I didn't see this answered anywhere. Forgive me if I overlooked something. So after two years in Turkey, I'm preparing to head back to the US in about a month. As a parting gift, a very, very, very good friend of mine has offered to give me a carpet that his mother made. He has several carpets, kilims, and other woven knicknacks that she made and he wants me to have one. I am honored and touched by his generosity and would love to accept it, but I'm wondering if I need any paperwork to get it into the US. I've heard that
