    Acarlar Market, Dalyan

    Acarlar Market is on the main street of Dalyan as you're leaving town to head to Ortaca, on the right side. Besides the usual groceries, it sells various imported cheeses, and vacuum-packed packages of pork bacon. Open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
  9. This is the former Dalyan municipality. Since Dalyan now falls under the jurisdiction of nearby Ortaca, it no longer functions as a municipality, but you can pay your property taxes and water bills here.
  10. If you want to live in Dalyan, you will need a residence permit. To get one, you need to apply at the Directorate General for Migration Management (DGMM) in Muğla. The Turkish name for this directorate is the Göç İdaresi Genel Müdürlüğü.
