I posted the same info request under the Adana forum but couldn't get a response. Going to Incirlik in a couple of months... I'm a tri-geek those weird guys that swim, ride, and bike and would like to get some info: 1. Where can I find indoor pools in Adana/Incirlik for lap swimming. I understand Incirlik has the base pool but seasonal. 2. Any recommendations on training ride routes around Adana. Do they respect the cyclists? Any reputable bike shops near Incirlik? 3. Are there any opportunities to race? I understand there's a sprint race on base. Looking for half-ironman o

Hello. In a few months I will be moving to Incirlik Air Base from the United States and I'm currently working on my TESOL/TEFL so I can teach English while I live abroad. In Adana, do they look for a TESOL or TEFL? When I complete mine, it gives me the choice to have one or the other. When is the best time to seek for a job? How's the pay? Any information would be great. Thank you.

Hi everyone! My names Nick. I just arrived to Incirlik yesterday, and I have to say it's a very robust and beautiful city. Unfortunately, I don't really know my way around. So, far I heard that the alley has a couple things to do; but I'd rather do something that's more downtown, away from the air base. If you'd be interested in meeting - Preferably a woman - let me know so we can hit it off and have a great time!

Since I am coming to Turkey with my Nissan Titan this time around, I was wondering if anybody knew of any Nissan Dealerships around or in Adana. I know when I was TDY to Incirlik in 02/03, I traveled to Adana and didnt remember seeing any, but then again I wasn't looking for one either. According to Nissan USA, they can put my VIN into the international system so that my truck can be serviced at any Nissan Dealership overseas. Thanks in advance for your input.

So I was at Incirlik for about 16 months from 05-07 as military and loved it so much that I just moved back this week after accepting a contracting position. I must say I missed this place a lot, glad to be back, hope to be here for another 5-6 years minimum.Right now I am here on NATO orders awaiting a work visa. Am I still allowed to purchase a vehicle on the local economy while on NATO orders?I also do not remember any places to purchase cars out in Adana. Anyone ever found a good place for that? I am looking for a used Focus since it is a safe bet almost any mechanic in Turkey would be fam

Hi, I am new to the forum and have never been to Turkey. I need a place to stay near Incirlik. My husband will be there but his contract does not alllow me to stay on base. Bummer! I want to be in Adana for about 45 days. I can pay for a 2 month rental if need be. Any suggestions for a reasonably priced and safe accomodation. Thanks for any help. Oh, I wii be there from about 20 November to 12 January.
