I never said we went to their house at any time on this forum, we were entering the building when this man came in and pushed past my husband and he started shouting when my husband asked him what the problem was. I feel I now need to up date this forum, last year I applied for my residency again as the 3/6 month visa was of no use to me, I had to go to the court to get clearance papers, which I got without a problem.     hello folks.I would like to start by saying a big thank you to everyone that gave me support 2 years ago when all this started.At last our ordeal is over..and hopefully we can get on with our lifes.The judge has thrown the case out of court, But if we get taken to court for the same thing in 5 years he will jail us for 10 months and we will have a 2000 lira fine!!Turkish logic..as we never done anything in the first place, but stand up to a bully and a evil woman, and her stupid husband.So at the end of the day these people need to pay their own fee's and can get no money from us!Phew!! there

    just a quick update for you all.After all this time we go to court next week for the verdict.We are hoping it will be in our favour, of course, As we are so fed up witht he whole thing now.It has cost soooooooomuch money.And these stupid people are still doing stupid things...anyone want to buy an apartment in turkey?I will let you all know next week what happens..thank you

    hi folksAn update for you all.I had lost the link for the web site.My husband got back to Turkey in dec 2010.YIPEE!!!It was a hard struggle but he got back!we found out he had been deported for 2 years!!for doing nothing.These crazy people are still crazy.We have been to court twice and the out come will be later this year.Our lawyer said it is looking good for us so fingers crossed. these people said they had a witness.she came to court but was not good for them as she said i never done anything but said my partner beat up the man, which was a lie as he had no marks on his body, no sign of an

    hi again,just an up date on this. we now have a letter from the court dated july, to say it is all over and he is not guilty!!woopee!!the man in question had no witness and the doctors report he had said there was no sign of an attack!!and there is no case to answer to.but this being turkey my partner is still no wiser at how to get back into the country.now we have illegaly deported and now this!!the embassy in london replied right away this time when we emailed them and they said they would try and help!!but still we will not hold our breaths.this has now been 10 months..gggggggggggrrrrrrrrr

    still no word!.I am coming to turkey on wednesday. and i am not going home till i get some answers.I have lost all my faith in this country.grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!DEEP BREATH!!!We have a feeling he will have to wait the full year before being allowed back.. as Turkey being Turkey. The paper work to get him back early would be so much. and they just cant be bothered!They will not even tell us anything. If I get any response this week I will let you know.

    hi ben, It was the Consulate we applied to. It was the right place we went to.below is the reply we got on friday, after 15 weeks .He has already tried going in for a holiday visa, he got it but they never let him in the country when the passport was checked! so they put him back on the same plane home.. and yes it was very embarrassing to say the least!! as they send over the police and take you away.and I was stuck in Turkey for 2 weeks as I had to sort a few things out with the bank and bill's.I went back then to see the judge and told him what had happened, and he assured me once agian th

    hi folks just a quick up date. 14 weeks later!!!!!!!! stilll no visa.. we dont seem to be able to find any way of finding out what is going on.The embasy don't even answer the emails we send then..     hi folks,It has been 8 weeks now since we went to london to apply for the visa!!needless to say we still do not have any word back from them!!we emailed a few weeks ago and they said they have applied to the turkish ministry, and it is just a case of waiting!!a second eamail we sent last week has not been answered!! mabe good news!!?? haha.fingers crossed!!will keep you updated on this.

    just a quick hello and up-datewe are waiting to see if a re-entry visa will be issued by the embasy in london, but we are not holding our breaths...If anyone has ever been there they will know why!!we should know within the next 2 weeks, so fingers crossed now...If not he will get back in when 1 year is up. There is no court case and these silly people are still up to their tricks... but im staying out of their way, They went to england for 4 weeks and they have came back, she is pretending she had 2 small stokes when she was there,, if she did she should not be in turkey!! attention seeking

    sorry i have not been on for a while.. when i got back from Turkey last week i had a car crash, I have head injuries, which i am now recovering from, and my car was a right off,but im glad to be alive, i have no idea what happened as no one else was involved.We live in the countryside i think i must have swerved to avoid a deer or summit,So we never got to london to apply for the visa, and my partner goes back to work for 4 weeks on monday.So we will just wait till he comes back and go down then.Will let you know how we get ontake care

    we went to the judge today and now he has to go to the Turkish consulate in london and apply for a visa there!!! then come to Turkey!!! (again)There was a break down of the turkish system!! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
