  1. We have been offered this 5* hotel for 14 nights in February, and was wondering if anyone could help out with where this hotel is? W e were in Alanya in May, but stayed in the Cleopatra beach area, and know this hotel is on the outskirts, but is there any resturants/bars in the vacinity, and is it easy enough to get into the centre on the dolmus, your comments would be appreciated, thankssharon
  2. Hello ladyofleisure, is your property still on the market? If so could you send me photos please. My email address is [email protected] I live in Istanbul and i'm looking for a holiday home.....this sounds ideal.

  3. We're spending two weeks in Alanya in early May. Can anyone tell me what trips will be available whilst we are there, and also what the coach services are like? We will be heading back to Altinkum at the end of the holiday and was thinking of going by coach. I have tried some of the web-sites without much luck, and also have been looking to fly from Antalya to Izmir as another option.
  4. Hi Sean and Sue, been reading your post with interest, but would like to comment that the chance of getting a work permit in the Altinkum/Didim area are nil. Dont know anyone who has been able to get one, unless you take up a post with a turkish company and they apply for you, or alternatively you start up uour own business. I know its not the same in other areas, but it seem that Altinkum is a definate NO NOsharon
  5. I think you mean the Big Nose Bar, run by Eric and Denise. Its below Swan Lake Resturant, lively bar with the normal entertainment, dancers, bingo, etc, really friendly and welcoming place, but not the place to go if you want a quiet night out, sharon
  6.
