Even if you don’t intend to apply for a visa just yet, you can still use the online e-visa system to learn the visa requirements for citizens your country. By just filling out the first pages, the system will tell you if you are eligible for an e-visa, or if you need to go to your local Turkish embassy or consulate to apply for one. Here's what you need to do:
1. Go to www.evisa.gov.tr.
2. Click "Application."
3. Enter the country you are from, and the type of passport you have, and enter the verification code, Click "Save and Continue."
The next page which appears will offer you, if citizens of your country are eligible for an e-visa, it will display the total days of the visa validity period, and the total number of days you can be in Turkey during that period. It will also tell you if the visa is a single or multiple-entry visa.
If citizens of your country are not eligible for an e-visa and must go to a local Turkish embassy or consulate, it will tell you that instead.
