These are the durations of the various types of residence permits a foreigner can get in Turkey.
Short-term Residence Permit
Maximum of 24 months. You can get them for shorter time periods of one to twenty-four months. Learn more about short-term residence permits.
Family Residence Permit

Student Residence Permit
A student residence permit will last for as long as the student's length of study. If the student wants to stay longer than that, he or she must apply for a short-term residence permit. Learn more about student residence permits.
Long-term Residence Permit
