The inscription reads: "This stone is not a grave but only an erected stone. The sign of Narcissos, who has had many well wishes once. He was a good man and had many virtues; in his heart he really had also the rhetoric of Nestor from Pulios. Oh jealousy that makes one subservient! I am going to classify you in a negative way and not Hades, because of your eradication of men like this."
