Two kittens were found days apart at Alanya, one with both the other one eye gouged out with a piercind object, according to the vet.

The picture is not for the squeamish, but I thought it is a good evidence of the capability of

people with mental disorder or lacking any signs of humanity.

This is the Turkish site, if you want to see it.

That is an awful thing to do to a living creature. Hope they burn in hell for doing that.

I'm with you Abi. I would like to be left alone with the b******** who would do something like this to any animal let alone defenceless kittens. No, second thoughts, no matter how evil they were I doubt that I could bring myself to hurt them unless I caught them in the act.

I wouldn't have any trouble administering a violence that they could only dream about at present.

I can't stand it, really it's horrible. An innocent defenceless kitten, why?
Yesterday here also, 1 man kicked a kitten of the road in front of our home, to the sidewalk. It was walking on the road, maybe 5 weeks old :)
It was screaming of pain. That moment my family had to hold me, I would personally kicked that man under his b*d that moment.

I really loose it when i read news like these... My mind just cannot comprehend such a thing... especially to baby animals...

the worst thing is that even you catch the guy nothing will happen to him... i think this is why people take the issue in their own hands...

I dont want to write anymore comments cos it involves things like "on-the-spot- assassination-teams" that will go around and exterminate dirts like these right there and then.....

Some people with mental disorder, and some 'children' addicted to some chemicals are on top of the list. The children addicted to chemicals -so-called 'tinerci- are a very complex social phenomenon. Official and volunteer efforts are made to stop this homeless chidren's tragedy, who dont only live a miserable life but also very dangereously criminal tendencies they have, cruelty to animals and other children is part of this.
Yet a third group of people is accountable as well: They simply hate animals when they are protected. Last year, as I read in a daily, a car hit a dog and just when somebody came to help the animal, a villager popped out from nowhere to beat up the rescuer. A few times carretas were subjected to cruelty. This kind of people see the animals as a rival.
Obviously laws protect the animals. But the individual efforts are not sufficient to stop this.
