Hi,
I am new to this forum and I would love to hear any ideas on the below.
We will be promoting an event in Istanbul on behalf of a client of ours. We are using a mix of online and offline publications in order to do this. I just wondered if anyone had any local ad agencies (specialised in online marketing) they could recommend OR if you could let me know any websites you use. We would like to attract a mix of international and local community. Any ideas most gratefully received

If our banner rotation system hadn't malfunctioned recently, I'd recommend Turkey Central! Unfortunately we had to buy another banner rotation program, and we've got a few bugs with that as well. In the coming month, we're going to install new forum software as well as the new banner rotation system. But until that's done, we're running Google ads.

As far as the Google ads, I'd definitely recommend them, you only pay for click-throughs, and you can decide the type of websites they display on. Check out adsense.google.com if you haven't seen it already, they're pretty easy to set up.

Are there any newspapers / news websites / job portals that expats use?

Rebecca if you put your cursor on Ben name you will see a down arrow if you click on that towards the bottom you see "send a message" if you click on that you will be able to send a PM (private message).

Just out of interest can you tell us what sort of event you are promoting as it may generate some suggestions from our members as to where you could advertise?
