Hi - my brother and fiance are getting married in September next year (2010) on Altinkum beach. We live in Sydney, Australia and are looking for accommodation in/near Cesme for a week. As we have a small child and will have my brother and both sets of parents with us we are looking for a villa (i.e need self catering, don't want a hotel or bed and breakfast) to rent with 5+ bedrooms. We've spent a lot of time looking on the internet but don't seem to be able to find anything with more than 3 bedrooms. Does anyone have any suggestions of places, or a travel agent/rental agent we could contact. Many thanks

Welcome to our forum. :woot_jump[1]:

I think maybe Dande will be able to help you. I'll be seeing him this afternoon so I will tell him about your post if he hasn't seen it by then. :drunk[1]:

Hello andie.

I can certainly send you full details of self-contained accommodation for your whole party just a couple of miles from Altinkum Beach and I have sent you a PM giving full details.

Selcuk I think Aggie was welcoming Dande back after his trip to the UK.

We had the last quiz night for the season last Monday. A lot of people have gone back to the UK for the winter and it's got too cold to sit outside to accommodate the smokers. :)

Looking for some good information regarding long-term (1 year) rental accommodation in either Çeşme or Alaçatı.
Preferably within 5-10 mins walk to centrums.

Thanks.

What are your must have's, like are you looking for an apartment or a house, how many bedrooms, bathrooms, do you need a swimming pool etc, do you want furnished/unfurnished? We do have members in both area's so hopefully we can help you out. Posted Image

A villa next door to us will become vacant soon, and the owners have indicated they wish to rent it out again. But it's in Dalyan (3-4km outside Çeşme centrum) -- 45mins walk or about 5 mins by dolmuş, every half-hour).

Other members may know of something closer to the centrum ? Good luck, hope you find what you are looking for. :)

Thanks for all the replies, folks!

We are presently trying to sell our villa in the Fethiye area and may have a buyer lined up.

We have also been on a recent viewing trip to Çeşme and Alaçatı with good friends who are moving there shortly, and really loved both towns.

When we sell, we are looking to relocate to either of these two places, as they seem to tick a lot of boxes for us.

We will be looking for a rental property, at least 2 bedrooms, no more than 5-10 mins walk to the town centre, with sea views if possible (in Çeşme).

The rental period should be 1 year, initially, to let us get a true experience of the area before putting down more permanent roots.

We are willing to pay up to approx 2000 lira a month for the right place.

Emekli, you haven't some of answered Abi's questions in Post #9 above !Posted Image

Villa or apartment ? Furnished or unfurnished? Want garden/pool or not ?Posted Image

For 2000 lira a month you'd be able to get something really decent, but in order to help, we need to know your preferences.Posted Image

Have you checked with any emlaks yet ? Posted Image

Meral,

Both Apartments and Villas would be acceptable to us. Location in relation to centrums is more important.

We would consider furnished or unfurnished - and a pool would be a bonus, but is not a must.

We are open to just about anything, if it suits our needs and is within our price range.
