A really interesting article. I want to know where that beach with shallow water along a dusty track with the man selling fish wrapped in vine leaves is. Do you know Dande, is it in your neck of the woods?

Yes, sunny, I can tell you exactly where it is. Okan's Place is situated on our favourite part of Altınkum Beach and we have travelled down that now familiar dusty track so many times. We actually go to, and widely recommend, Ramo's Place, just next door to Okan. The same quiet, spectacular setting but cheaper prices, run by Ramazan and his friendly team.

Doesn't have sardines wrapped in vine leaves, though!

It was an interesting article, can't remember having heard the name of this place before. I am more curious about how someone from outside the country found such a well kept secret. Perhaps we know less about where we live than we think!
