Ferry From Girne To Alanya

Do any of you experts know when this ferry is likely to start running in 2009?

Hello Turkey ,I have just come back from the port in Girne [ 20 Min's ago ] the ferry will start in April they have not got the exact dates yet , and they seem to think it may run 3 days a week then [ not yet confirmed ] last year i think it was Sundays and Thursdays , I will be travelling again on it this July , both my Husband and I loved the ferry . Have a good trip . Regards to all from NORTH CYPRUS

Thank you. We will be there in the middle of May and we are hoping to get the ferry to Alanya. Looks promising!

      The Alanya Göç İdaresi Genel Müdürlüğü (Directorate General of Migration Management, or DGMM) is in the same building as the Nüfus ve Vatandaşlık İşleri Genel Müdürlüğü (Population and Citizenship Directorate, or nufus. If a local doesn't understand what you're looking for, just say "nüfus" (noo-foos) and they'll point you in the right direction. The DGMM is where you need to go to apply for a residence permit if you live in Alanya or its environs.
      Open from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon, and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
      Residence Permit Applications are Handled Online
      You must submit an application for your Turkey residence permit online. If it is the first time you are applying, you will have to go in person to the Alanya DGMM office to take the required documents to them. Their online system will generate an appointment date and time for you. If you are renewing your residence permit, you can submit your renewal form online, then mail the accompanying documents to the Alanya DGMM.

      To live in Alanya, you will need to apply for a residence permit at the office of the Directorate General for Migration Management (DGMM), in Alanya. The Turkish name for this directorate is the Göç İdaresi Genel Müdürlüğü.

You can pay your telephone bills here, at any post office (PTT), or at any bank listed on your telephone bill. If you want bill payments automatically deducted from your Turkish bank account, just take one of your telephone bills to your Turkish bank and fill out an application form.
