We have a house in Beldibi in Marmaris. the house is nothing special but it is home. would love to hear from anyone in Beldibi.

Hi Yeliz. I suppose I must be closer to you than most here. I have a holiday home in Datca. We pass by Marmaris on each visit and during cooler months we usually have a day out there.

Datca's really nice, we have been quite a few times, our friends used to run the 'olive farm'. When I need my visa extention I sometimes go to Simi from Datca.
The road to Datca is a lot better now than it was, my husbands driving doesn't instill confidence at the best of times but that road had me reaching for the sick bag.
Love the chocolate waffle thingy's that they do at the pasta shop in the centre.

Oh I have been visiting for many years and haven't yet managed to visit the olive farm. It's on my to do list, but I'm always either too hot, too tired or too busy lol. The road to Datca is fine now but did you go on it 15 or so years ago? It was like a track through those mountains and the first time I kept my eyes closed most of the way and swore never to go along it again. I was terrified. It's nice to have another member who knows Datca - I think there are three of us now! Hope to see you there one day.

Beldibi/I live in beldibi and like it very much,nice and quiet,only lived there for 2 years,but very happy.
