Members who own businesses may be interested in becoming a member of our professionals' group or our local experts' group.

If you have a good track record of objectively assisting our members with your expertise, be it from your profession or your local knowledge of the town where you live, you're eligible.

By providing advice to our members, you become known as an expert or professional about your subject by a community of people which is always growing. Thousands of people will read what you are writing in the forums, even though they may not reply to what you write, they will read it. It is an excellent way to market yourself and your business.

For example, by providing answers to legal questions, a lawyer would become a trusted member of our community, and our members and guests will know that, firstly, you are an English-speaking Turkish lawyer, and secondly, that you are interested in helping our members. Our members, and guests, will always be able to find you and contact you when they need legal advice. It doesn't just apply to lawyers, it applies to any profession.

Other members who own businesses can benefit by providing information about their local town or city.

We do check to see that you are who you say you are. We do not ask for any commissions or payment, we just want your advice and assistance to our members.

If you are accepted into one of these groups, you will receive a badge which displays under your user name. You also may place a banner advertisement in your signature block.

You do not have to check the forums every day to see if anybody has asked a question about your professional area or your city/town. Simply subscribe to those forums where you would like to help out, and the forum will send you a notification by e-mail when there is new activity (any member can subscribe to any forum, it is not necessary to be in one of these special groups to do so).

This is not for the business owner who only wants to directly market his or her business and get free links in their signature block. This is only for those professional members or business owners who are sincerely interested in assisting others, and who deserve recognition for doing so.
