The Mayor of Cesme has had a fitness park built below the new Jandarma buildings on the Dalyan road. It is equiped with a variety of machines designed for toning various parts of the body.
So come on and get fit. :D

..we are quite lucky at our appartment as we have gymnasium, sauna and solarium ,and we have only 22 families on the complex, half of them are not here most of the year ,and our swimming pool is open all year ,unusual for turkey.saying that we have to pay 150ytl a month ,but its worth it. :D

Hey that's nice Jonno, so I expect that you are super fit and tanned all year round. How many laps of the pool did you do this morning? :D

Oh, forgot to mention, there's another fitness park in Dalyan Koy, towards the Laddin Hotel.

Mmmmm! I see, another, like me, who doesn't like too much excercise. You notice I talked about the fitness parks but no mention of me having tried them out. :D

Glad to hear that Jonno. We usually walk the dogs every day which involves climbing a hill - good for the old pulse rate. :D

Is there any kind of a plan I can join where somebody comes to my house and yells at me to go to the fitness park, and won't stop yelling at me until I've done my workout? How I miss the military sometimes... :commando[1]: But not very often.

What is it with retirement? The same thing happens with retired military people. I had a good friend who retired years before me, as I was retiring. Hie said that he planned that when he retired, he would read books he had always wanted to read, do a regular exercise program, do things he never had time for. He ended up doing none of it, and sitting in bars telling "war stories" with other retirees. I swore this would never happen to me. Well, I don't have to tell you how that turned out... :)

I forgot to mention, there is also a new fitness park across from the Tansas. There is a street where you'll see tennis courts in the middle, and there is a small fitness park there, also.
