We are a campaign group called stopukmarriagefraud!! We want any uk citizens to contact us if they have been scammed by any nationality of foreigner to come foreign!! This has just happened to us also!! We are now building a website and already have had some media coverage of our individual cases!! From our own investigations we believe this to be a massive problem in the uk and needs to be stopped!! Our government is not protecting us in law allowing criminals to steal our money and assets!! My daughter married a Turkish man who we thought loved her but later as usual we have found out he wanted a visa and as they have a son together he now wants him He is divorcing her and seeks full custody of son He has told her he has paid people to say she is always in bars drunk and with little boy also she sleeps around none of this is true my daughter is a good mother .Her husband has been with other women while married but hey this does not count. He owns The Melodi hotel in Marmaris yet says he only earns 8ootl a month so he can get government lawyer my daughter cant afford the cost of lawyer as they want £1500 from her and as we are living on our pension we cant afford to help her .This man has beaten and kicked my daughter almost sensless but family think this should have been accepted by her This case will be in court in April but guess a man who thinks nothing of defrauding the British government wont have any worries
While he was waiting to hear if he got his long term settlement visa he opened a hotel here in Marmaris and was back living in Turkey full time he used address of one of our family members saying he was living with them and had no other family in u/k he had lots of his own side of family living there but did not want to involve them He is a fraud and a cheat one day perhaps he will get caught but i dont hold out much thought
