Hi Again

Well first of all many thanks for all the help on all of our posts

We have now secured a two bedroom apartment on Marina Road ground floor and no problems with our dogs with a shared pool

We intend to drive there on the 20th of September the long route

The dogs are booked in for their jabs etc at the end of this month the cost here is about £100 per dog there is now no need for blood tests after the jabs so that saves a lot

TO BRING OR NOT TO BRING

This is what we are thinking of bringing

Our 22inch TV as its nearly new

All of Trisha's make up etc and her 9 pairs of sunglasses

Laptop

A bit of bedding

Dog chews

One suitcase of clothes

That is about it

One thing we are still not sure about is our iphone's can we get them unlocked out there ? they are the 4s

If you've got room in the car put in winter clothes and coats as well as summer stuff as it gets quite cold here in winter. Some dog food to get you started if you use tinned food as it's quite pricey here.

I'm not sure how easy it is to unlock Iphones , is it possible to do it in the UK before you come here?

Definitely bring the make up as there is a lack of decent make up in Didim, and if you can find any, it's overpriced. Not the 9 pairs of sunnies though!

So we will add tinned dog food & warm clothes

The cost to unlock our phones in the UK is around £50 for each phone we are not sure if its worth having an iphone in Turkey maybe we will sell them and buy a cheap phone when we arrive are mobile phones costly in Turkey

Phones are costly here but now if you import a phone you have to pay 100tl tax before you can register it so you might as well sell you iphone and get a cheap one here.
