The local authority has ruled all markets/shops in central Alanya must close by 1.00 am.

I'm surprised that they stay open that late.

I wouldn't have thought the noise would have been that bad, what time where they shutting? I would have thought people who where coming out of clubs and pubs would have made more noise. Still I suppose the belediye can't be wrong can they Posted Image

I agree with you Abi. Certainly people leaving night clubs make a lot of noise around 4/5 am when they are racing home!

The zabita is not enforcing the new law change 170 tl first offence. This is the worst season Alanya has ever known and the Zabita is going mad with fines and closures. Whilst İ appreciate they have to have rules etc a wake up call may be necessary.. A friend told me today that the music licence has gone up to 6000 tl per year and that's canned music live is more expensive. İt merely means restaurants put up their prices and its a snowball effect. Turkey longer more costly flights eating out more expensive drinks pricey - result lets do Spain - Greece etc.l

I think I read somewhere that Altinkum had put up the music licences as well to about 3 or 4,000 tl I believe that a petition was given to the major and he is having a re=think. I agree with you that prices will go up as well which isn't a good thing.
