If you're whiling away the evening listening to a favourite song...why not share it with others. They may find a new favourite band or singer and get a bit of a musical education.

For example I've spent the last few hours listening to some great music.

Jackson Browne: Doctor my Eyes.

Stereophonics: More Life in a Tramps Vest.

And just now I'm listening to: Creedence Clearwater Revival: Who'll Stop the Rain

I love me some CCR actually. They are one of my father's favorites and I remember when i was a little girl, my father would have them playing sometimes on his "boom box" during summer time cook outs or when we'd take long car trips. I like Proud Mary and Bad Moon RisingPosted Image

Right now though, its Turkish music. Emre Aydin, but later maybe Can Atilla Posted Image

Just got home from the pub....

My wife has just scrambled some eggs with bacon and HEINZ baked beans on toast. If I ended it now I couldn't be happier.

So I've put on some Dylan....The Grooms Still Waiting at the Alter...(which I didn't, incidental y)

Apparently she's been making music since 2002, but Ive only just discovered her tonight. A lady of Arabic heritage named Azam Ali. "In Other Worlds". Its kind of new age, and she sings in Arabic of course, but also can in Turkish and English. Really relaxing music if your into that kind.

Got some Leonard Cohen on.

I can't listen to turkish music for more than 10 minutes before it gets on my nerves and most classical music!

I really like Adele, especially "Rolling in the Deep". This is one of those rare occasions that I really enjoy something that has also swept up most main stream awards. There's just soomething about her voive. Love it !
