Kanuni Sultan Süleyman, a historical symbol of power, had said 'the real welfare is health', as I told in my earlier post. But people too, created a proverb about the true value of power: ''Dünya Sultan Süleyman'a kalmadı'' : The world was not left even to Sultan Süleyman. What is meant here is to acquire the world permanently..Even the most powerful man of the world couldn't posses it , but he left this world, without being able to take anything with him. So why to be so eager about material values? This proverb is said after the death of a rich person who tried hard to be rich, or was proud of his wealth.

That's a good one Saffron. In these circumstances we usually say "you can't take it with you" (meaning you can't take your wealth with you to the grave).

In that sense, 'Kefenin cebi yok: The shroud doesn't have a pocket ' is said..
