Two weeks ago I had an operation on my hand and this Wednesday I had another one, both times it was just local anaesthetic and both times I took my camera and photographed it. All the operating theatre staff poked their heads in to see this mad Englishman taking photos. The surgeon said you wouldn't get a Turkish man even looking. I think it too interesting to miss. The photos will be on my blog soon.
Cukur, I just checked out your blog and was fascinated with the photos (I had expected worse!). Itsn't it amazing the capacity that the human body has to grow back bits! My husband once lost the end of his finger while manhandling a cast-iron man-hole. I came back from work to find his glove on the kitchen table with what I thought was a piece of chorizo inside. It actually grew back although he never regained any sensibility in it but I do say bravo to those skilled surgeons who can do ops like yours. Hope the healing process continues to go well.
