I would say don't worry about it, it isn't you, some people are just incredibly unreliable. It isn't unheard of at all for friends jut to not turn up when a meeting has been arranged.

I agree with Fil and would also say don't worry about it for the same reason. I can't see the point in anyone writing reams of stuff for your to read as to why as we haven't meet any of the men, just put it down to experience and bad luck. In time you will meet someone genuine and suggest you don't try to over analyse the situation.

Yes, and the most unreliable people don't seem to realise they should apologise for standing someone up.
But it would be wrong to generalise from that and conclude that you can do the same to other people, some people get terribly offended at others not turning up and may never speak to them again.

Hi Aine, I wouldn't advise anyone to ask to see a date's kimlik - certainly not at the beginning! It could make you look distrusting, suspicious and maybe even over-eager! Your date could also think you're searching for a husband; and asking to inspect his kimlik could make you appear a little interrogative - and that could REALLY put them off!
I think you should get to know someone well, before asking to see their documents. After a time you'll know whether they're spoken for or not, anyway. By which time you probably could 'casually' ask to see their kimlik, although there would probably be no need to.
