Hi Everyone, I'm Karen and I've been living in Turkey now for almost 20 years. We're based in Istanbul but work all over Turkey. My husband run a law office here and our office does a lot of international arbitration cases but I also run a consultancy office where I can advise foreigners in Turkey an pretty much any legal aspect of their lives here from family matters to company issues. Personally, I do a lot of International child abduction cases (Hague Convention) where Turkey is involved and also I help people set up businesses an Turkey and so on. If you need any legal help we are here. We have native English speaking lawyers here as well as French and Spanish, our German lawyer is on his way too. I can't write the name of our office here because of the Turkish laws on advertising so feel free to Google me or drop me a line if you need any help!

Hi Karen, I don't think providing some info and a link to your law office violates advertising laws any more than handing out a business card would, you would have to determine that. But if you want, you can add your law office info and a link to your site in your signature block. That way it would display every time you make a post. It helps us keep the forum posts advert-free while giving a hand to our business owners in the community.
It's great to have another Istanbul member here, perhaps you can assist our members both with legal issues and with info regarding Istanbul.
In any case, it's good to have you as a member here. Welcome!
