Our first visit to Side will not be our last .
We loved the town and sights what a beautiful harbour.
Me and my husband stayed at a local hotel and that was our only complaint but this is not the place to go into that.
We had a great meal down at charlies on the front service was great staff very friendly.
The holiday was meant as a wind down to a very stressful few years and it did that I could wish myself back to the front next to the sea with a glass of wine in my hand:)
We had a few stop offs over the week mainly at the red lion which we had been told about on here we ate there most nights and the staff started to get friendlier as they saw us more .
We spend a few afternoons at the beach free bus from our hotel free sunbeds and a bar down
There it is something we have never done as a couple this was our first holiday without any of our children and we really enjoyed the chill out met a couple we passed some time with and relaxed.
Enjoyed the market you told us to go to bought some nice bits for everyone.
As this was our first visit to Turkey I can say we will be returning I am so thankfull for the advice you all gave me buses ect it made us feel a bit more sure of ourselves .
I will make sure i come in again before our next visit and you can advice us were to go to for our next visit .

So glad you had a great holıday here in Side, Barbarella. Raining here today but good weather forecast from tomorrow onwards. İ have lived here for 5 years and still find the place magical. Come back soon.

Whilst I post a lot of articles on different places there is nothing like a first hand report on how people found a place to be, so I'd also like to thank you for taking the time to let us know how it went.

I'm glad to read it all went well for you both and hope you have many more happy holidays here.

Just thought i would make a comment on here as it was nice to read something about side (im guessing it looks like just me and Angela that live in side )

It is a very nice place to visit and i would recommend it to anyone that is thinking about going for a nice relaxing holiday, the ruins are beautiful especially at night!

If anyone wants to know anything else about side then i am always happy to inform you x
