Mr O’kane’s Own Villa In Turkey. Seized In Property Scam,

A FIRM of solicitors acting on behalf of the victims caught up in the £10 million property scam today revealed that they had seized Mr O’Kane’s own villa in Turkey.

Akın Aslanparcası, who represents Batmaz & Arslanparçası solicitors, in Bodrum, confirmed that he had launched a civil case in Bodrum court and had successfully put a block on any attempts by Mr O’Kane to sell his luxury villa in Bodrum.

It is believed to be the first active step taken by the victims’ solicitors to begin seizing his assets in the country.

Mr Arslanparçası declined to comment on whether they had made successful bids on other assets belonging to Mr O’Kane and his business partner Mr Kubilay Atmaca, but he said that further actions “were inevitable”.

He confirmed that the police investigation against the two suspects were continuing but no precise date had been set for a criminal court hearing.

He added that more victims had been and were still coming to his firm to make claims, but he declined to give the number of clients he now represented.

However, in a recent interview, he confirmed that the mass action against O’Kane and Atmaca was the largest his firm had ever handled.
