The İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality's company overseeing and regulating sea travel in the city, Şehir Hatları, A.Ş., is preparing a digital guide that will provide information on the buildings on both coasts of the Bosporus in nine languages for tourists.
Tourists will able to listen to the stories of the buildings lining the Bosporus for TL 5. The digital guide will include information in Turkish, English, German, French, Farsi, Japanese, Spanish, Italian and Arabic. Both a long and a short version are being prepared, one running six hours and the other two. The digital guides will feature photographs of the buildings. People will rent the guides to take on boat trips and then leave them at a booth afterwards.
