Hi,
Has anyone driven back to the UK from Turkey with their dog. I would just like to know the best route and are what border points we have to go through on the way back. Is he free to travel throughout once inside the EU in Bulgaria?
Thanks very much.

If you're taking him directly from Turkey through Europe to the UK, he'll have to spend 6 months in quarantine on entry to the UK !
His papers will be thoroughly checked at port of entry, and if he hasn't got the right papers proving that he's been in the EU for 6 months prior to entering the UK he'll be impounded, and potentially could be destroyed, and you will be held responsible for all his quarantine and vet fees. You could also be fined up to £10,000.

A number of people move to Bulgaria with their pets for 6 months so that they can take them back directly form there.
