Dear Members...

On my previous post I was announcing that my wife and I would love to travel to Turkey.
However, in recent events we have decided to MOVE to Turkey instead.
By researching the country and people we have fallen inlove with your majestic country and thought the best way to travel is a semi permanent stay...

Both of us are young and we don't have any children...."yet" :)

We are going to do the onsite Turkey TEFL course in Istanbul and then take it from there.
However, If we do find any other work related to our professions we would gladly take that of course.
I would appreciate ANY help or guidance and your comments are welcome.

Kind Regards :)

Wow, didn't expect that but sounds like a good plan Johan as you will get a better feel for the place if you working rather than be in holiday mode. You will also be able to travel to different locations which will give you a better idea, if you decide to stay, where you want to live. I'm moving this thread to the'Moving to and living in Turkey' section as the Meet and Greet is cleared out every now and again.

Just want to wish you both good luck, let us know how you get on and if you need any further help just shout out. :)

Great! Thank you very much. I will def shout.
We are busy planning the move and hope to be in Turkey be end Jan 2012.

I think to start off we would live in Istanbul. From there it does'nt really matter.
I like Ankara but, I live close to the beach and I would like to remain near water. Lol.

Hey that's great Johan. A number of us have taken the bull by the horns, so to speak, and upped and moved here. It's a great adventure. Good luck with it. We're here to answer any questions that you might have and we'll do our best to answer them. :)
