A giant ceramic board reputed to be the world’s largest was opened Friday in Istanbul’s Ortaköy neighborhood with a ceremony.

The board, 85 meters length and five meters in width, depicts historical Istanbul buildings such as Hagia Sophia and Galata Tower and was produced by artist Mustafa Tunçalp.

The board has been erected on Çırağan Avenue between the center of Beşiktaş and Ortaköy.......
