Kalkan Association for the Protection of Street Animals

Our aim is to ensure the street animals of Kalkan remain happy and healthy throughout their lifetime. To achieve this we operate a spaying and neutering scheme to reduce the number of unwanted animals, as well as a feeding programme throughout the winter months. We also treat a number of sick and injured animals along the way.  Although we have the full support of the local ‘Belediye’ (council), we receive no funding from official sources and rely totally on public donations.
