Turgutreis
Turgutreis, 18 kilometers from Bodrum on the western shore of the Bodrum pensinsula, is the Bodrum area's second-largest holiday resort. It is easily accessed by dolmus from Bodrum's city center.
Hotels in Turgutreis are mostly all-inclusive, feature-rich package deals, so there isn't as much to do there outside of one of the hotels as you might find in some of the other towns around the Bodrum peninsula. The local Saturday market is the main exception, since it attracts buyers and sellers from around the peninsula.
Turgutreis' shoreline has an esplanade, a small beach, and a yacht marina, which makes for a nice stroll, as well as a view of the sunset in the evenings.
