Golkoy and Turbuku
Near the middle of the north shore of the Bodrum peninsula lies Golkoy and Turbuku.
Golkoy
Golkoy is characterized by low-rise developments and a slender beach, which is also the main path along the shoreline. As a result, swimming and sunning is done from platforms belonging to one of several beach-front hotels.
Turbuku
Known as the "Saint Tropez" of the Bodrum peninsula, Turbuku is a favorite destination for the rich and famous of Istanbul and other parts of Turkey, who arrive in their yachts at Turbuku's spacious and well-protected harbor.
Because of the typical rich clientelle, accommodation and food in Turbuku is of higher quality, but more expensive than most places on the Bodrum peninsula.
