Just west of Kale Ici lies the "Belediye," or city municipal building, and Antalya's main recreational area, Karaalioglu Park. Here you'll find a pleasant, shady, and spacious place of tea gardens and playgrounds. A wide, paved walkway follows along the cliffs, and offers spectacular views of the sea, Antalya, and the Bey Daglar mountains. There is also the Adalar Swimming Area here on the rocks below the cliff, with a large decked area (no sandy beach, unfortunately), and a small cafe which serves refreshments to swimmers and sunbathers. It's a great place to relax in the heat of the day.
